II. Requirements
In order to run Bold EasyMagz smoothly on your server, you need to full-fill this requirements listed below:
- Apache 2.2+ or Microsoft IIS7
- PHP 5.4+ (PHP 5.5+ Recommended)
- MySQL 5.1+
- Joomla 3.7+
Please contact your web hosting service provider to make sure that your server complies with the requirements above.
You should check php upload_max_filesize and post_max_size. The recommended values should be 64Mb or higher. Some hosting limits this value by default, you may need to contact to find more information about this. You can change this via php.ini file or .htaccess file in the root of your website:
php_value post_max_size 64M
php_value upload_max_filesize 64M
These values will ensure that you won't get any error reporting that your upload and post memory limit is too low.
III. Download package:
After purchasing template, you can download the template package to install into your site, it's a ZIP file called bold_easymagz_V.x.x.zip
Installation Guide:
1. Bold EasyMagz Template Installation

Step 1: Install Bold EasyMagz
+ Log into the Administrator Panel
+ Go to Extensions in Extensions Manager > Install
+ Use Upload Package file mode and select the package: bold_easymagz_V.x.x.zip
+ Install template package as typical Joomla extension + Click on Upload and Install button
Step 2: Assign Bold EasyMagz as default
Once done, navigate to Extensions > Templates > Administrator templates and set bold_easyMagz template style as default one.
2. Extensions Installation
In order to make the template look exactly as the demo page, you need to install recommended extensions EasyBlog v5.1. Follow this documentation page for how to install each extension above.
PLEASE NOTE! These are 3rd party commercial extensions, in case that you don't have one of these extensions installed on your site, you have to purchase it from StackIdeas first.
Basic Settings
This section will cover the settings for template layout and modules/positions used generally across all pages of Bold EasyMagz template.
Template Layout
Helix3 is a very popular Joomla! 3 template framework with predefined features and options that you can use for faster template development.
It is extremely simple and ready to use just after the installation. Framework is used to ease the process of web development, as it allow you to focus on the design rather than code. You can call it a starter, robust template. Helix3 template have got JOscar award from Joomla Community in 2017, for the best template framework.

The following screenshots highlight the layout module positions that we used in a current template. By using Layout builder in Helix3 users will be able to move positions or change their size in the grid. Our inbuilt layout builder from template settings provide the opportunity to add new positions, columns, rows wherever you need as much as moving elements.

Change Favicon
A small image with dimension of 16x16 pixel image in .ico format displays in web browser next to your website's URL. You may use one of graphic software and create your own favicon and simply place it in template directory of your website:

Home Page
Step 1: Create menu item for Homepage:
Go to Administrator Panel > Menu > Main Menu, Add new menu item with type of: EasyBlog » (Posts) Magazine » (Posts) Magazine
Step 2: Create template for home page
Go to Extensions -> Templates -> Styles
Clone template [bold_easymagz - Default] and rename to [bold_easymagz - Home].
Select tab Layout with layout: [main-home]
Step 3: Select tab Assignment and assign template for Home page
